Title: Warning: phishing email impersonating "Walmart Marketplace / Verification Team" delivering malware

I want to warn other sellers about a phishing attack I received that impersonates Walmart Marketplace. It came as a PDF styled like an official "Walmart Verification Team" email, claiming there were "two complaints about intellectual property" on my account and pressuring me to act urgently to "avoid account interruption."

The email links to a look-alike domain that is not owned by Walmart (it uses "…-walmart.com", not the real seller.walmart.com) and instructs you to download a file and select "Extract All" to open a "case form." That download is not a form — it contains a Windows executable that is malware (an information stealer). I confirmed this with a full antivirus scan, which detected and quarantined a Trojan.

Has anyone else received this? And can Walmart confirm whether these "IP complaint" case notices are ever sent this way? I've reported it to Seller Support but haven't heard back. Posting here so other sellers don't fall for it. Reminder to everyone: only access Seller Center by typing seller.walmart.com yourself, never through an emailed link.

Official Document from the IRS for EIN verification keeps getting rejected. Created a case to ask why but there is no communication. Only me asking questions that are not being answers such as why my IRS document is being rejected.

Hello, I’m completing Walmart Marketplace onboarding for a U.S. business.

My company is KENJI INTERNATIONAL LLC, a single-member LLC with one owner (100%). We have not elected to be taxed as an S-Corp or C-Corp. For federal tax purposes, the LLC is treated as a disregarded entity.

However, Walmart only gives me these options:
C-Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership, LLC–C-Corp, and LLC–S-Corp.

There is no option for Single-Member LLC / Disregarded Entity. Walmart Support told me to select the “closest matching entity type,” but they cannot advise which one to choose.

Has anyone with the same single-member LLC structure successfully completed onboarding? Which entity type did you select, and did Walmart approve your Business Verification?

 Unable to Select Correct Business Entity Type

Hello Walmart Marketplace Support,

I am registering my seller account. My business is a Single-Member LLC registered in New Jersey. During Business Verification, the Entity Type dropdown only shows:

• C-Corporation
• S-Corporation
• Partnership
• LLC – C-Corp
• LLC – S-Corp

My company is not taxed as a C-Corp or S-Corp, so none of these options accurately describe my business.

Could you please advise which option I should select or help update my account so I can complete the verification?

I cannot change the title. When I finally tried to change it, the system displayed: "This project is currently undergoing a compliance review, and the review content is consistent with your last submission. You cannot resubmit until the review is completed, which may take up to 48 hours." I have been waiting for 8 days.

Hello - I am bringing this up again as I have not been able to set up my seller account because there is no option for my entity type. I believe this is an error. I am a W-9 tax payer with a Single Member LLC / Disregarded Entity.

My tax advisor emphasized that I CANNOT select an entity type that does not reflect my business structure. It's not that I don't know which to choose, it's that the option is not there.

Single Member LLC / Sole Proprietor / Disregarded Entity is a valid and commonly used business structure in the U.S. including by third-party sellers.

Please update the options or advise accordingly. Thank you.
